Phyllostachys bambusoides - Castillon

Castillon and Allgold, another form, have the most brilliant gold yellow canes of any bamboo. Castillon also has contrasting green grooves. Dark-green leaves with an occasional yellow stripe make it a real showpiece. Has long branches and canes tend to lean so is better for single-plant grouping, grove or potted plant than narrow hedge.
