Marmorea (Marbled bamboo) Chimonobambusa marmorea The canes are supple, the coloring light tan-green to deep red-maroon. The leaves are bright green and close together, almost bushy. It grows rapidly in good growing conditions. In autumn, culms turn red and the new shoots are covered by a marbled sheath. It can be used as a clump, hedge, or in a container.
