Tessellatus Indocalamus tessellatus 

(Large, hanging green leaves, tropical look but cold- hardy)

Usually no more than 4 feet tall. It has the largest leaves of any bamboo in cultivation. Leaves have been seen up to 24 inches long and 4 inches wide but half that size is more typical.
